Vannoy Parent Club Programs

FAME

Fine Art Mini Experience (FAME) is a program designed to introduce children to the beauty and wonder of fine arts and music, and to plant the seeds of a lifelong love of and appreciation for the arts.

We believe that the arts are an important facet of everyone’s life, and unfortunately most schools don’t have the resources to support this kind of a program. This program allows parents to get involved and bring the joy or art and music to our school.

Maker Space

Makerspace is a collaborative work space hosted in the Multipurpose Room for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. It’s more of the maker mindset of creating something out of nothing and exploring your own interests that’s at the core of a makerspace. Makespace helps prepare those who need the critical skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). It provides hands on learning, helps with critical thinking skills and even boosts self-confidence. STEM projects for kids use recycled or repurposed items such as cardboard, soda bottles, and art supplies which means nothing to purchase.
